Wave Sculpture- Skateart in Springfield, TN
Adam Heffner, local skatepark advocate, contributed a great deal to the skatepark build including fabrication of the steel street features and a 13′ wave sculpture originally inspired by rolled hay found in the fields around Springfield. Waves have been done in skateparks before, but Adam took the fabrication to a new level and the Hunger placement of the element made it unique. Unlike other sculptural waves in skateparks that have been found in bowls, this one straddles an elevation change in the street leg of the park. The crew immediately found the lines- but we’re looking forward to seeing the locals crack it open.
