New Albany Public Art Skatepark Project
Hunger Skateparks is working with Carnegie Center for Art and History and specifically Daniel Pfalzgraf to implement a Public Art Skatepark Project on the old New Albany Skatepark site. The site is off of the river walk, and is located just across from the Louisville Skatepark. The park is in deep disrepair, making it a perfect area for creative ideas and solutions.
On April 29th from 1-2:30 Hunger Skateparks and the Carnegie Center will be holding a kick-off meeting at the site. The meeting will start with a short presentation about skateable art and forms, and follow with a brainstorming session using modeling clay and drawing materials. The due date for the final submissions will be announced at the meeting.
