Design/Build 2026

1201 Stock St. Cincinnati, Ohio 45225 (Near Camp Washington Chili!)

We were the luckiest of the lucky to be the first to build Cincinnati’s first custom concrete skatepark!

The overwhelming feedback from community outreach told us that Cincinnati riders wanted a Cincy centric and art infused flow street park. Although it might seem like a lot of Cincy specific references, believe us, these are only a quick splattering of the ideas that came from the community. There was no shortage of ideas. Go find those easter eggs from the coney themed ‘glitzy gap’, custom stamping of that classic C, and integrated feature references to the Shapes and DO’s spots.

The design was around 12,500 square feet but grew in the build to around 15,500 square feet. The layout has 4 major sections: tech alley, flow street pit, bowl, and entrance features. Although the vibe is flow, there are a few linear moments that help create side spots for those who want ledge to rail combos all day- we see you and you deserve it. But for those ATV skaters that the midwest is known for, you have it all in this park. Mixed banks and transitions with varying lengths/heights of box combos and flow bumps give you combinations we only started to dream up when designing. On the first few days, you showed us what was possible and we look forward to the seeing more.

The bowl has a 3.5′ shallow and an 8′ escalating deep end with textured coping and a custom iconic C stamp band that gives homage to the nation’s first professional baseball team- the Cincinnati Reds. The waterfall moment is an up and over with a sub box option on the shallow mini ramp end.

The entrance has a tall, quick, tight return wall that leads to a coney gap or a general return wall for other combinations in the street pit. The coney gap was an idea from a local skater from our online survey. There were times when people tried to get it axed, calling it cliche and not worth the effort. But fun sometimes beats grumpy, thankfully. The city and park advocates wanted it and we were 1000% ready for the challenge. We built it using all our concrete knowledge and decorative know-how, breaking it into components assembled together like a sandwich. Our favorite element is the exposed aggregate chili. Hungry for a coney? Camp Washington Chili is steps away from the park!

We want to thank the City of Cincinnati, Cincinnati Skatepark Advocates and the neighborhood of Camp Washington for the welcome you extended to us during the build. We loved our time in your city!
