Design 2020/ Build 2020
In the middle of Millworks Commons, a cooperative live/work/play space, is an innovative park with multiple shared recreation spaces. The skate spot cradles a basketball court and walking paths. It includes three main features: a volcano spine, rail/ledge combination feature and a long wall with hips, banks, manual pad, and a small quarter.
We love building small spots and were excited for this opportunity to work with the good people at the Nebraska Skateparks Council who also put their energy into a local DIY space. The spot gave us a chance to show some love to the DIY park as well, and we were able to help with the build of 5 substantial new features.
